Supporting the Future of Basketball on the Central Coast

17 Jun by Matt Shorrock

At Iron Tigers Basketball Club, we believe in creating opportunities for young athletes to learn, grow and develop a lifelong love of basketball.

While our focus is on grassroots participation, athlete development and community basketball, we also recognise the importance of having strong pathways available for players, coaches and officials who aspire to compete at higher levels.

Central Coast Basketball has recently launched a community fundraising campaign aimed at supporting the future of the Crusaders pathway, including Junior Representative Basketball, Youth League and NBL1 programs.

Many current and former Iron Tigers athletes, coaches and families have been involved in these programs, and we know the pathway plays an important role within the broader Central Coast basketball community.

For members interested in learning more about the campaign or making a contribution, further information is available via the Australian Sports Foundation:

As always, participation is entirely optional. We simply wanted to make our community aware of an initiative that aims to support basketball opportunities on the Central Coast for future generations.

Together, we can continue building a strong basketball community and ensure young athletes have access to opportunities at every level of the game.
